That little padlock icon. SSL and stuff

Hope you are all well. Just been updating some security for my site. Hopefully it is working correctly! Should have the little padlock now, having some security added as well as the dreaded gdpr cookie link. Hopefully this year after I finish my dissertation I can do a nice site upgrade and redesign!

Blackpool magic Convention 2018

Just a quick Hello from myself to say I am still here! Been mega busy with various other projects including university essay writing. Fun!

This weekend (17th-19th Feb) is Blackpool Magic convention weekend. It has been going since 1952 and now over 3500 magicians attend from all over the world!

This means it is the biggest convention on Earth, but... I can't be there! It is always the weekend before my son's birthday as well! Maybe we can go together one day when hopefully he gets the magic bug himself! No pressure

It's a shame, but it does get a bit crazy! Yeah, I'm sure some of you are thinking what can thousands of magicians get up to, to be crazy! But I don't think the pub where all the magicians meet when the day is over closes?!

Beginner Magic Sets for Children this Christmas

York now has its third Harry Potter themed shop on the same street! It seems the enthusiasm for the Boy Wizard will never die! It would be nice to think that this world of make believe world of spells and magic wands would encourage children to try and take up my sort of magic.

This is where Children’s magic sets come into their own. You can buy many great value kits that include everything for a kid this Christmas to put on their own show, and hopefully get hooked into the great hobby it is, whether they want to take it up professionally one day or not.
